| Children vary tremendously in the way that they develop their speech and language. If he has an older brother or sister, or is a twin, you may find his speech develops slower than average. This may be because the other child is talking for him. If you live in a large or noisy family, he may find it difficult to find the space to practice his talking. Often children from bilingual families will be slower at developing speech. |
